Moroccan WEDDING TRADITION IN FEZ
Moroccan Jabadours
THE WEDDING CELEBRATION DAY
It’s THE big day ! Generally, this celebration takes place in a rented place for Moroccan weddings. If you are looking for the best place to celebrate your moroccan wedding, discover the BAB SAHRA FES , a unique place to celebrate love. While waiting for the bride to make her big entry, guests are received with mint tea and moroccan sweets. Then, the couple enter in the luxurious room, accompanied by the singing of Neggafates, the master wedding planner. One of the most awaited moments is Amaria Tour. The groom and the bride are carried in two wonderfully decorated seats (respectively called Mida and Amria) and lifted by four people. In the background, traditional moroccan music is played.
After this emotional moment, everybody eats Moroccan specialties and finishes the night dancing. Finally, the newlyweds will spend the night at the groom’s house, where his family will be waiting for them with milk and dates, symbolising their wish for a sweet and peaceful life.
THE DIFFERENT OUTFITS OF A MOROCCAN WEDDING
At the scheduled time, we’ll welcome you at the entrance of Palais Bab Sahra Fez, the charming venue for this lunch or dinner and show. Get ready to experience Moroccan culture!
Upon arrival, we’ll guide you to a quaint Moroccan clothing workshop, where you’ll uncover the rich history of traditional garments. Choose from an array of outfits for a memorable photoshoot in an elegant riad that has more than 12 centuries of history. Capture timeless memories as a couple.
Let the festivities begin! Whether you’re a gentleman adorned in a traditional modern suit or a lady wearing up to seven different dresses, including the green and gold kaftan for the henna experience or the elegant white takchita symbolizing purity—you’ll definitely find your style.
Following the photo shoot, it’ll be time to enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner highlighting Morocco’s culinary diversity. The menu features seven types of salads, an exquisite tajine, fresh seasonal fruit, and, of course, Moroccan tea paired with delightful sweets.
